What is one of the most well known, well-loved desserts around the world? Well, you guessed it it..Chocolate-Chip Cookies! I mean if you don't like chocolate-chip cookies then honestly I think you may need to see a doctor.(Kidding!) But seriously who doesn't like a delicious, goey, chocolatey, doughy.. cookie. And now guess what the amazing news is? You can enjoy this amazing cookie taste in your protein shakes too! How you might ask did I achieve this great feat?? I guess you will have to read on to find out..but for now I will just say that this shake is insanely delicious. It contains a crazy 34g of protein and 340 calories. The perfect indulgent breakfast without any guilt at all!

Serves 1:

Chocolate-Chip Cookie Protein Shake:
1/4 cup dry quick oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used designer whey french vanilla)
1/4 cup pasturized egg whites (you won't taste them & plus what's a cookie batter without the eggs??)
3 tbsp plain 0% greek yogurt
1 tbsp sugar-free syrup (or 1/2 tbsp real maple syrup)
1 tsp natural peanut butter or almond butter
1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 tsp xanthan gum (optional but adds a nice thickness to the shake!)
6-8 small ice cubes
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash of salt
stevia to taste (I used 2 drops stevia sweetener but you could also use another sweetener to taste)
1 dark chocolate square (I used lindt dark chocolate excellence 70%)

Directions: Place all ingredients (except chocolate) in the blender starting with the ice and wet ingredients at the bottom then add dry. Blend until smooth and creamy. Now add your chocolate square and blend until it is crushed to your liking. (I blended mine pretty small). Then enjoy with a spoon or thick straw!!
