I hope you all love smoothies as much as I do because this one is a keeper! I previously made a blueberry almond smoothie with just blueberries and it was okay but with the addition of banana this shake was amazing! It requires no additional sweeteners since it is already very sweet on it's own. It's also great for a quick breakfast if you are in a hurry! Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
-5-6 small ice cubes
-1/2 a large ripe frozen banana
-About 1/2 cup large frozen blueberries (I was lucky enough to have leftover fresh picked blueberries from the summer and let me tell you, they make all the difference! But if you don't have them you can still use regular frozen berries, you just may need to add a few extra :).
-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk(give or take a bit depending on your smoothie thickness preference, I like mine pretty thick so I may not always use it all)
-1 tbsp natural almond butter
-3/4-1 scoop natural vanilla protein powder (I used PVL)
Optional: cinnamon to taste
Directions: Place the ingredients in the blender in the order listed to avoid almond butter and protein powder getting stuck to the bottom of your blender(if yours is as crappy as mine lol). Blend on high until smooth. Pour into a giant glass or bowl(if you made it thick!) and slurp up! Enjoy 🙂

Hey! Have you ever tried adding spinach to your smoothies? I have almost this exact same smoothie for breakfast one or twice a week and I always add a handful of spinach to mine. It will turn it green but you honestly can't taste it at all and it is loaded with vitamin a and vitamin c and even a little protein, plus a huge handful of spinach is only about 8-10 calories!

I actually have debated adding spinach for so long, I will have to try it! I used to add romaine lettuce to my smoothies haha. I just bought some spinach today so I can try it!! :)
