The Best Low Carb Easy Keto Granola Bars Recipe
I have always been obsessed with the latest keto-friendly granola and/or protein bars. (Currently Built Bars are my go-to).
But sometimes I would rather make my own at home rather than buy them to save some money.
These Low Carb Easy Granola Bars have become my go-to recipe for this! They are EXTREMELY easy to make (you could literally make them in your sleep) and are very versatile. You can add whichever mix-ins you like but I've provided one of my favourite recipes below.
I hope you guys give them a go and tag me in your own creations on instagram (@sammysamgirl)! I'd love to see what bars you come up with.
Ingredients in The Best Keto Granola Bars Recipe
- Almond Flour– I use the Kirkland Costco brand of almond flour (I buy it in bulk on Amazon or at Costco itself occasionally) for this recipe. As I’ve noted in many of my past recipes, the brand of almond flour can affect the final outcome of the recipe because absorbency can vary depending on how the flour has been processed.
- Powdered Monkfruit Erythritol Sweetener – I use the SoNourished brand for both granular and powdered sweetener and love it! The powdered is the best option for no-bake goods and desserts where you want a very smooth final product. But it bakes well in any recipe. **UPDATE** lately I’ve switched over to THIS brand of powdered sweetener because of trouble ordering the first one so you can order whichever is easier for you!
- Sugar Free Maple Syrup – I use the E.D Smith brand because it's found easily at our grocery stores here. It's not as low carb as other low sugar syrups though so when I can I order the Choc Zero Syrup. Both work well in this recipe!
Tools I Used To Make This Easy Keto Granola Bar Recipe
- Low Carb Substitution Guide – This is totally optional but if you like my recipes, I now have a $5 guide available with all of the substitutions I use to create every recipe on my site. You can use this to convert old traditional recipes and create new keto recipes! You can purchase it here and/or read more if you are interested. 🙂 I appreciate your support so much guys!
- Nutritional Food Scale – AKA my best friend. This little buddy has been with me for over 4 years and never fails. Perfect measurements and only needs the batteries replaced maybe once a year!
How To Swap Out Ingredients In Healthy Keto Low Carb Granola Bars
If you aren't a fan of one of the dry ingredients in this keto granola bar recipe, you can always swap it out for something else (these are very versatile):
- You can swap out chopped almonds, cashews, hazelnuts or macadamia nuts for the pecans
- You could swap out chopped dark chocolate for the chocolate chips
- You can swap out sunflower seed flour for almond flour if you have an allergy. You can even try coconut flour instead of almond, just know that it absorbs more liquid so you may need a little more butter/syrup or a bit less of the flour itself.
- You can also use any sweetener you prefer, I just enjoy the taste of a monkfruit/erythritol in my bars.

I want to make these for a friend, but she is allergic to chocolate. What would you suggest subbing to make up the difference in volume? Also, can you double this recipe? Thank you.

Hey! You can definitely just replace it with more mixed nuts if you’d like or more coconut! & yes you can definitely double this!
