Okay so..it's late at night, you are having a sweet tooth craving..the giant bag of chocolate chips you have hidden in your cupboard are calling you..what do you do?? Well don't eat them of course because you've got greek yogurt chocolate chips!
These are sweet and delicious if you are having a craving and would go great on top of some over night oats are any other cold dessert! And above all, aren't these just adorable?
So how do you make them? It's super easy!
Ingredients:
– Plain 0% Greek yogurt
-splenda
or for other flavour mixins try:
-raspberry extract with splenda/vanilla or raspberry torani and vanilla extract
-mint extract and vanilla extract with a little green food colouring for fun! & splenda
-lemon extract/vanilla extract & splenda
Directions:
Mix together your greek yogurt to your liking (I did a little less than 1 tbsp cocoa powder for 1/3 cup greek yogurt, 1/4 tsp vanilla and about 2 tsps-1tbsp splenda but feel free to change this!). Place a plastic bag in a cup like you were putting a new garbage bag in your trash can(lol, great example I know). Spoon in the flavoured greek yogurt like icing and then squish the icing down to one corner of the bag and cut off the tip. (basically a homemade icing bag). On a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper, squish the greek yogurt out to make chocolate chip shapes(or whatever shapes you want! You could get creative!). Then place the chips in the freezer for at least 30 minutes(the longer the better). Then take them out and put them in a container, then back in the freezer to have on hand for whenever you have a craving for something sugary!
