Low Carb Banana Coffee Cake

Low Carb Banana Coffee Cake

KETO BANANA COFFEE CAKEThis delicious Low Carb Banana Coffee Cake is just 3.4 NET carbs per slice.

I personally like to use real bananas in my baking rather than banana extract so I just make sure to use an amount of mashed banana that keeps the total carbs to a minimum.

Bananas are low GI and the only sugars in this recipe are very minimal and all coming from a natural source. Like any dessert, if you track this into your daily NET carb intake, you can 100% eat this on a ketogenic diet!

This cake worked out great. it’s super moist and has an hidden layer of cinnamon and “brown sugar” in the center as well as on top of it.

I’d honestly be happy to call this breakfast any day! Continue reading “Low Carb Banana Coffee Cake”

Keto Cheesecake Stuffed Snickerdoodle Cookies

Keto Cheesecake Stuffed Snickerdoodle Cookies

KETO CHEESECAKE STUFFED SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES

These Keto Cheesecake Stuffed Snickerdoodle Cookies are the perfect soft and chewy cookies.

They combine two of what I’ve deemed to be reader recipe favourites, Snickerdoodles and Cheesecake. (See some of my past most popular recipes at the bottom of this post!)

These cookies are based off my previous Keto Cheesecake Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies but for this recipe I’ve enhanced the texture of the cookies themselves with a few ingredient changes! Plus of course, added some cinnamon.

(*BONUS I’ve also figured out a way easier way to stuff them so you don’t end up with a mess) Continue reading “Keto Cheesecake Stuffed Snickerdoodle Cookies”

Keto Cheddar Cheese Muffins

Keto Cheddar Cheese Muffins

KETO CHEDDAR CHEESE MUFFINS

Keto Cheddar Cheese Muffins… because sometimes savoury muffins can be better than sweet.

These muffins are a nice twist on a basic cheddar biscuit or scone.

They are fluffy and light in the middle but crispy on the tops. These make a great low carb snack or quick keto breakfast.

They are also extremely easy to make and take less than 30min total to prepare and bake! Continue reading “Keto Cheddar Cheese Muffins”

No Bake Chewy Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

No Bake Chewy Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Keto Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter SquaresThese No Bake Chewy Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares are SO good.

I made this recipe multiple times trying to get the right consistency. I was going for the same texture as my favourite Built Bars

These turned out very similar! The texture is slightly less chewy than a built bar or nougat  but for me it’s perfect because they don’t get stuck in my teeth as much!

I made these as protein bars but my parents happily ate them for dessert. They really enjoyed the chewy center with the crunch from the chocolate coating.

Overall these make a perfect high protein, high fibre treat but I’d definitely eat them as a dessert any day.

P.S Did I mention they are super easy to make? Continue reading “No Bake Chewy Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares”

Keto Boston Cream Donuts

Keto Boston Cream Donuts

KETO BOSTON CREAM DONUTS (1)

I’m kind of shocked to find myself writing this post. Usually I’m more of a jelly donut or apple fritter kind of person. I’ve never been a big fan of boston cream donuts BUT with that said, I always thought they were a “pretty” donut. I liked the look of them and so many other people love them. They are a classic.

Also when made at home.. I do have to say, I like them a little more. The cream itself I could just sit an eat a bowl of.

These donuts as you may have noticed are cut like sliders. I did this just because it’s easier with this type of dough, you don’t need any special piping back and it still looks great.

These donuts are baked but I have a feeling they would be amazing fried as well based off my other frying experiments using this same dough.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think of this recipe! And let me know if you try them baked or fried!  Continue reading “Keto Boston Cream Donuts”

Keto Marble Cupcakes

Keto Marble Cupcakes

keto marble cupcakesI have always been obsessed with baked goods that are two-toned or marbled. I just think it makes them that much more interesting and fun to eat!

That’s why for these Keto Marble Cupcakes, not only are the cupcakes themselves marbled with chocolate and vanilla batter, the topping is also a mix of rich sugar free chocolate frosting enhanced with espresso powder and a delicious classic vanilla frosting that’s of course, also sugar free.

These cupcakes are super tasty and have even been kid approved! (That’s when you know they’re good).

The base is super moist and fluffy and the topping is just the right amount of sweet without being too over the top. A perfect cupcake for both chocolate and vanilla lovers alike. Continue reading “Keto Marble Cupcakes”

Easy Keto Caramel Sauce

Easy Keto Caramel Sauce

easy keto caramel sauce

Caramel sauce is just one of those things that makes everything else taste better.

Cookies that are bland? Add caramel sauce.

Ice cream just plain vanilla? Add caramel sauce.

Brownies need a little something extra? Add caramel sauce.

Spicing up your daily coffee with some whip cream? Might as well add a bit of caramel sauce too.

Caramel sauce is super versatile and until now I’d been using my Sugar Free Low Carb Caramel Sauce recipe I made a few years back and it was super tasty, don’t get me wrong, I’d still make it today and be happy with it. BUT to say it couldn’t be improved would be a lie.

So now, here we are after some experimenting with a new EVEN BETTER Easy Keto Caramel Sauce recipe that to me is actually even easier to make.

This caramel is gooey and has that tradition creamy mouth-feel of real caramel. It tastes so similar, you wouldn’t even know it’s keto friendly. Continue reading “Easy Keto Caramel Sauce”
