This delicious Low Carb Banana Coffee Cake is just 3.4 NET carbs per slice.
I personally like to use real bananas in my baking rather than banana extract so I just make sure to use an amount of mashed banana that keeps the total carbs to a minimum.
Bananas are low GI and the only sugars in this recipe are very minimal and all coming from a natural source. Like any dessert, if you track this into your daily NET carb intake, you can 100% eat this on a ketogenic diet!
This cake worked out great. it’s super moist and has an hidden layer of cinnamon and “brown sugar” in the center as well as on top of it.
I’m kind of shocked to find myself writing this post. Usually I’m more of a jelly donut or apple fritter kind of person. I’ve never been a big fan of boston cream donuts BUT with that said, I always thought they were a “pretty” donut. I liked the look of them and so many other people love them. They are a classic.
Also when made at home.. I do have to say, I like them a little more. The cream itself I could just sit an eat a bowl of.
These donuts as you may have noticed are cut like sliders. I did this just because it’s easier with this type of dough, you don’t need any special piping back and it still looks great.
These donuts are baked but I have a feeling they would be amazing fried as well based off my other frying experiments using this same dough.
I have always been obsessed with baked goods that are two-toned or marbled. I just think it makes them that much more interesting and fun to eat!
That’s why for these Keto Marble Cupcakes, not only are the cupcakes themselves marbled with chocolate and vanilla batter, the topping is also a mix of rich sugar free chocolate frosting enhanced with espresso powder and a delicious classic vanilla frosting that’s of course, also sugar free.
These cupcakes are super tasty and have even been kid approved! (That’s when you know they’re good).
The base is super moist and fluffy and the topping is just the right amount of sweet without being too over the top. A perfect cupcake for both chocolate and vanilla lovers alike. Continue reading “Keto Marble Cupcakes”→
Caramel sauce is just one of those things that makes everything else taste better.
Cookies that are bland? Add caramel sauce.
Ice cream just plain vanilla? Add caramel sauce.
Brownies need a little something extra? Add caramel sauce.
Spicing up your daily coffee with some whip cream? Might as well add a bit of caramel sauce too.
Caramel sauce is super versatile and until now I’d been using my Sugar Free Low Carb Caramel Sauce recipe I made a few years back and it was super tasty, don’t get me wrong, I’d still make it today and be happy with it. BUT to say it couldn’t be improved would be a lie.
So now, here we are after some experimenting with a new EVEN BETTER Easy Keto Caramel Sauce recipe that to me is actually even easier to make.
